Phog Lounge Poutine

There are few establishments quite like Phog Lounge. Renowned for their unique venue in Downtown Windsor, they are a gem offering both familiar residents and travellers alike something spectacular in an intimate setting. We at I&F Design would like to pay tribute to this local delight—a place and an experience standing the test of time even in the face of a pandemic.

Since opening in 2004, Phog Lounge has earned a proud history of music and bar service accomplishments. In 2009, they won the CBC Radio 3 Searchlight Contest for Best Live Music Venue in Canada; the CJAM 91.5 FM Radio Jammy Award for Best Music Venue in Windsor in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010; and the CJAM 91.5 FM Jammy Award for “Best Bar in Windsor”—9 years running. There is something for everyone; Phog Lounge hosts every type of music currently available in Windsor or on tour in Canada.

Music isn’t their only shining feature. Hungry guests can indulge from their “Phood Menu”, which offers a mouthwatering selection of their takes on the great Canadian staple: poutine. On tap, Phog Lounge dispenses a variety of must-try beers from microbreweries to accompany your meal, or to enjoy with good company and a live performance.

A cultural hub, Phog Lounge strives to connect, support, and showcase talent in contribution to the enrichment of the city’s arts and entertainment scene, and to the city as a whole. Musicians, visual artists, writers, filmmakers, students, entrepreneurs, small business owners and more have partnered with the venue to share their abilities and creations with the Windsor-Essex and Detroit communities.

Phog Lounge is located at 157 University Ave. W.
While indoors is currently closed for lockdown, they are open for poutine, drinks and music with their Gravy Train experience! Call (519) 253-1605 for details.
