Whether you have received a beautifully wrapped loose cut bouquet or an exquisite vase arrangement, proper care for your flowers will ensure you get as many days of enjoyment as possible. Here are four key steps to flower maintenance and care:
Once you receive your wrapped gift of flowers, you will want to unwrap your bouquet and choose your favorite washed vase.
Use your clean garden shears to trim one to two inches off of your stems and cut at an angle. Cutting the stems at an angle allows for better water intake since they aren’t sitting flat on the bottom of a vase. After the initial cut, be sure to re-trim your bouquet once every few days. Prune and remove any leaves below the water line. This process should be done for both loose cut and vase arrangement recipients.
Fill your vase with cool, clean water and the FloraLife flower food packet that came with your loose cut wrap. If you received a vase arrangement, you will want to check your water levels and top off your vase with water.
Try to change your water DAILY, or as often as you remember.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the arrangement you have received, please take a photograph of your arrangement and contact us within 24 hours so we might have the opportunity to resolve the issue.
